The first half was recorded at Conny plank's studio, and the second half was recorded live at The Electric Ballroom (@London), where they appeared as the front act of Wire. This album was the first album in the prestigious Mute label's memorable album catalog (Stumm 1). The album is still rough and has a strong post-punk tone, with the originality that will reach its golden age with the next album.
